Chassis and suspension submitted for powder coating
April 26, 2012After a final few days welding, the chassis and suspension parts have been submitted for powder coating this week. QPF of Sandy (http://www.qpf.biz/) have kindly agreed to extend its sponsorship deal into 2012. The submission marks the end of a long process of manufacturing for much of the car, and a lot of hard work has gone into reaching this stage. The time taken to reach this stage is a good marker for the performance of the team this year in completing the car well ahead of previous years. By comparison the car was submitted for powder coating last year in late June. Once the chassis is back in early may, the team can get straight on with assembling the car in its final 2012 spec ready for testing.
