FBR Final Meeting of Term
November 30, 2011FBR had their final meeting of the year this afternoon, showing off all of the designs, and CAD which have been completed. It was good to see such a big turn out to the meeting (about 40 team members turned up)- a really good indication of how many keen members we have this year (the equivalent meeting last year had an attendance of about 10). One of the thrusts of the meeting was to explain how long manufacturing lead times can be and hence the urgency of design completion by ASAP in order that we can assemble the rolling chassis at the beginning of next term.
Next- we will be having our ‘design blitz’ over the next 3 days, trying to get all the CAD polished off before people leave on their Christmas break. This includes chassis jig, diff hangers, tabs, uprights and much more….
